Drip, Drop, Hearts!

Brett and I were eating a sandwich before our weekly movie.

As we ate, I was sharing with him a story of a situation that had taken place to me earlier in the week and how I felt I received a sign to a particular request I made a few days prior to GOD.  Brett said “The answer U received wasn’t a sign it was simply a coincidence”.  I told him “That’s impossible – a coincidence like this can not be that ironic to just simply happen, as it did”.   He said “sometimes it just does.”

I then asked him, “Are U saying all the strange things that simply continue to happen to us are all ironic coincidences?”  Brett paused and wasn’t sure how to respond – considering some of these “coincidences” are so unbelievably coincidental that its hard to believe something isn’t making them happen – even if we were making them happen ourselves.  Like, “what U think about U bring about”.

To support that statement, I addressed how some individuals can bend spoons by focusing and thinking about it.  I said, “Some signs that happen are way to ironic to chalk them up as coincidences”.  However, I am willing to accept and agree we might be personally responsible for bringing these things on instead of a higher power bringing them on.  We both seemed to agree on this notion.

Immediately following this mutual understanding, I looked down on my sandwich wrapper I was eating over, I noticed a heart shaped drip that fell exactly on the corner of the bent up portion of the wrapper.  As he looked at it with me another drip fell from the sandwich on to the wrapper and it formed a heart shape as well.

Brett’s responds, “Oh my GOD, finish your sandwich, lets go to the movie!”  I said, “first take a picture so we have proof to what just happened.”

I guess these things that happen are a bit too much sometimes, nothing else needs to be said.  I guess our situation and conversation was now beyond words.

What do U think?  Is it a higher power or us making things happen as they do??

Please send in your comments below.  I would really like to know your thoughts.
