Sun Shadow

Sun Shadow

It was a very rainy and cool Memorial weekend in Minneapolis, MN.  We did get lucky each day for several hours of overcast and no rain. On Sunday, for a brief moment, the sun made an appearance.  I was in the middle of doing a little spring-cleaning, washing windows when suddenly, I saw the sunlight cast a shadow on the floor. It appeared the sunlight caught the corner of a piece of glass art we have been hanging in the window. What’s...

3 Breakfast Hearts

3 Breakfast Hearts

OK – this was almost a little to early, even for me… At breakfast this morning, I spread some cream cheese on my toasted bagel. I went to get a glass a juice, and as I was sitting down I realized the hole in the middle is shaped like a heart. Since it was so early, I was contemplating on taking a photo. As I was taking the picture, I noticed that within the cheese, there were two more heart shapes.  One is an air hole; U can see it...

Savannah in Paris

Savannah in Paris

Big Puddle in alley

Big Puddle in alley

A fact that appears to be irrefutably true is “what U think about U bring about!” As U see for yourself in any of these posts, thinking this way actually works! I encourage each of U to start really thinking about what U want...

Cover Heart

Cover Heart

I took this photo yesterday. This is a 4-foot round steel cover we had made in 1998 to cover our fire pit. Yeah, I know a 4’x4’ fire pit seems a bit extreme, but what can I say we love a big fire!! Over the years and all on its own this cover has aged and warped to the heat of the sun. And, as U can see no matter if the snow melts or it rains, the puddle that forms on top is always shaped as a heart.  I swear besides the help of Mother Nature...

Heartbreaking Photo – Oklahoma Devastation

Heartbreaking Photo – Oklahoma Devastation

I turned on the computer this morning and read the headlines of this terrible tragedy in Moore, Oklahoma.  I decided to look at the photos taken of the devastation from yesterday’s monstrous tornado and look what I found… After sharing this with my friend Jen, she suggested I post it to encourage people to help the victims of this terrible tragedy and if it is too difficult to donate money, consider giving blood. …What a fantastic...
