Thankful Hearts

Last week Bryan was in town for work and prior to dinner we were sitting at the kitchen nook talking guy stuff; cars. I was complaining about my vehicle again. Bryan pulled out his phone and suggested we call his buddy Dave, who works for a dealer in WI.

Next thing I know, Bryan has Dave helping me get out from my car and into a new vehicle without worrying about be “taken for a ride” – if U know what I mean.

After we hung up, I said to Bryan, “I can’t tell U how much I appreciate U doing this for me!” he replied, “Don’t worry about it, that’s what friends do!”  Just then Buckles came into the kitchen looking to go on his evening walk.  I told Bryan I would be right back.

As I walked out the door with Buck, I thanked Bryan again.  As I was walking down the stairs I saw this wood chip chunk shaped as a heart lying on the ground.  I picked it up and brought it back into Bryan and said, “here for U, a token of my gratitude!”  He laughed and asked, “Did U just find this? And I replied, “Yep! – I’m sure there is more to come!”

A few minutes into my walk with Buck I noticed in the crack of the sidewalk a tiny heart.  I took out the phone and sent it to Bryan and said, “here’s another token of gratitude, Thanks Buddy!”

When I got home, Bryan asked, “are U really not looking for these hearts, U just see them by chance?” I said, “When they are meant to be, they are meant to be seen.”
