My Broken Heart
Today my heart was truly broken. Sadie was hit by a car and didn’t survive. Anyone who has been reading my posts knows how much Sadie and I loved each other. She could care less she was a dog. As far as Sadie was concerned she was my girlfriend and as far as I was concerned, I LOVED IT!!! I know that may sound a little weird – but it was, in a cute, wonderful way! I can not begin to share with U, how I felt every time I was with her and I know Sadie felt the same way! And, the very thought I will never be able to enjoy another living moment with her makes my heart ache and sink, to this emptiness I now feel in my stomach.
And, poor Camille… my closest, most dearest friend and Sadie’s mom, had left out of town this morning to go to a funeral. So not only is she dealing with a death a very close family friend – she is now dealing with this – and I can’t even be there for her, nor her here for me.

The picture here is the last picture of Sadie and I together – Camille took it when we were out walking Sadie a couple weeks ago. The heart in this photo – look right above the “V” portion of my shirt by my neck. There is a light that is cast in the shape of a heart.
