My 2011 Birthday Painting
In July of 2011, Savannah attended a 30 day college art class in California. This class and trip was truly inspirational and artistically beneficial for her. Now Savannah may have been gone over my birthday, but I was not forgotten. When she returned I was given my belated gift – this 12×24 beautiful painting of this heart.
And, if that wasn’t special enough, she wrote the following on the back of the painting:

Happy Birthday PaPas!
I can’t wait to see you. My only goal has been to make you proud. I can’t wait to share my art with you and celebrate another great year. You teach me so much, I’m the luckiest girl in the universe. I just want you to know you’ve built the strongest and most beautiful family I could ever imagine. I love you more than anything ♥ Savannah
It is I, who is the luckiest in the Universe!!
Better yet, the feeling I’m having right now sharing this with all of U, is like seeing it for the first time!!
