Love the spoon

Fall 2016, I was making a little rice and as I put the spoon down – I noticed the two pieces of rice stuck on it and said, out load, “of course they are shaped as a heart”.

Jodi asked “what is…?”  I replied “the rice” as I was taking the pic – she added, “look the spoon is on the ladle rest, shaped as a heart…  U better not forget to include me in this story.”

I agreed, “I can’t, U a big part of what just happened in seeing the hearts”.

A few seconds later, Jodi cackled and asked, “U put the spoon on the ladle rest shaped as a heart on purpose, didn’t U?”

I explained, “I honestly didn’t even see it.  I’m sure I eventually would have, when looking at the pics later – however, I didn’t see it, until U said something.  I was too focused on the rice and spoon – so, good eye Jodi!”

Then Jodi, asked “what will U write the story about” – and I replied, “what just happened”.

This story sounds to me like Seinfeld; when George and Jerry are discussing their sitcom concept of their show about nothing – everyday stories – but stories about nothing. 😉
