JACKPOT!!

Upon arriving at the Sir Paul McCartney concert with Camille, I found these two pieces of trash on the steps down to our seats.

One heart is of a napkin and the other heart looks like some sort of sports tape.  I’m assuming they were left here by some litter bug.

Sorry for the blurry photo – besides my hand’s shaking, I barely had time to take the pic. The concert was about to start and I had people lined up behind me wanting to find their seats and sit down.

This story only gets better…

As Camille and I arrived at our seats she had paid for, we found two girls sitting in them.  Before we could ask them to move, they asked if we would mind switching seats with them, so they could sit by their mom who had a ticket next to ours.  They said “our seats are much closer…”

Camille and I looked at their ticket numbers and where the seats were located – JACKPOT!! – we couldn’t believe they wanted to give up these seats for ours.

Our new seats were even more fabulous then our originals – Happy Birthday to me I told Camille!

Since I am only human, I must admit, with how our luck was running, I was now waiting for Sir Paul to spot us and ask us back stage.  I’m sorry to say that did not come about – although something miraculous did happen.

As we were leaving the concert, Camille realized she didn’t have her iPhone. There was no way we could turn around – there was about 20,000 people behind us.  Besides, she had no clue if she left it by our seats,  in the bathroom or where she was taking photos by the merchandise being sold.  And, even if it was in one of those places – there is a good chance someone may have seen it and picked it up.

Camille was feeling a little bummed and rightly so, we were having such a fantastic night.  We decided to get a drink and eat at an outside bar, a few blocks from the concert at Target Field.  My treat, to cheer her up.

About 20 min later, out of the blue, Camille said, “U know what I don’t really feel like I lost my phone. It feels more like I just misplaced it and I’m going to get it back.”

I said, really? I took my phone out and said U want me to call it?  She said, “U can try, but there wasn’t much battery life left”.

I called and a guy from guest services at the Target Field answered, he said someone found the iPhone and had just brought it over to guest services. If she hurried back over now, he would wait for her to arrive.

This was crazy!!! It was Midnight. If we hadn’t called right then, this guy wouldn’t have answered, nor would her iPhone have any power left for her to try to locate her iPhone with the app she has on her computer at home.

Not to mention, whomever did find her iPhone was nice enough to take the time to go to guest services in the crowd of people before heading home. Our hearts and blessings go out to U – who ever U are.

What a night to remember!!!  Thanks Camille
