Instead of carving pumpkins this year, McKinlee and I thought they would last longer if we painted them instead.
Apparently, we underestimated the squirrels! It seems McKinlee’s design was not scary enough to keep them away. They started scratching and chewing and finally made a break through – a hole shaped as a heart!
McKinlee was not happy to see the damage made by the squirrels to her creation, not to mention, how suspicious it is for my unharmed pumpkin to be sporting such a devilish grin.
