If U are a regular here at the site – U might recognize this fire pit cover, and the variety of posts with different heart puddles that have formed over the years.
I have looked and compared – none are the same – this is just another case of weird!
I found this particular heart puddle after a long over-due rain shower. Although, August did turn out to be very wet that summer.
FYI: I left the fire pit at the Ewing address when we moved earlier this Spring. I will need to follow up with Matt to see if any hearts have formed since our absence.
