Goodbye Zoe Heart
I came across your website after doing some investigating. I decided to write to you because your blog talking about the love for your daughter inspired me to share my story as well….
I have this beautiful yellow lab named Zoe who is a huge part of our family. Zoe is one of the most friendly, perfect and loveable dogs we have ever owned. She instantly becomes friends with anyone who will give her an ounce of attention. Recently she has developed a bad limp. It is common within labs to have bad hips so once there is pain, we will have to say goodbye to her rather than see her in pain. Since learning this, I have seen random hearts everywhere; my coffee, a smudge on the counter top. While taking my babygirl on her daily walk, I saw this heart randomly while thinking about how I don’t want to say goodbye to her. She LOVES her walks but I can tell its harder on her now then before.
I wanted to share my story knowing God has these incredible ways of showing us how much love we can possess and put out into the world… enough to put a random oil spot in the shape of a heart during a single difficult thought of losing something I treasure and love deeply. God is with us always, and will remind us in dark times to always show your heart.
