Front & Center
Claudia and I were in NY window shopping at an outside art fair. We came across these two steel kids holding hands and I said, “Savannah and Brett my alien kids”. Claudia immediately said, those would be perfect “Front & Center” on your fireplace mantel for everyone to see.
The next year I placed a couple little wooden hearts out in front – they came from a wooden Christmas ornament I sent out to everyone (I knew). The picture of Claudia I had placed there after she passed in January, followed by a few little hearts I found since; piece of broken glass and a little rock both shaped like a heart and placed in front of her “Front & Center”.
