Cover Heart
I took this photo yesterday. This is a 4-foot round steel cover we had made in 1998 to cover our fire pit. Yeah, I know a 4’x4’ fire pit seems a bit extreme, but what can I say we love a big fire!!
Over the years and all on its own this cover has aged and warped to the heat of the sun. And, as U can see no matter if the snow melts or it rains, the puddle that forms on top is always shaped as a heart. I swear besides the help of Mother Nature this has happened on its own.
I must say it’s difficult trying to decide which image to share next. There are SO MANY old photos of hearts, numerous cool hearts we have found/collected and there are new hearts that we discover daily.
It really is a bit crazy and overwhelming – in a good way!
