Counter Top

Counter Top

Rylee moved into his new home about a month ago.  He had it customized and is it beautiful! I was obviously helping him with the move in. When I walked into his kitchen, I quickly noticed there was a silver heart shaped flake within his gorgeous granite counter tops. This was the first of many hearts I found in his home that day and several weeks later after they finished landscaping his yard. Stay tuned, all the heart pics are in cue from when...

Cement Spill

Cement Spill

Was out walking Buckles around the block, when we came upon the area of the new sidewalks the street construction crew had replaced the day before. It seems they spilled some cement on one of the sidewalk blocks shaped as a heart. Between U and I, the construction crew have provided at least a dozen opportunities for heart shaped pics since they started in May. I am happy to report, they finally finished up on our block this past...

Big Puffy Cloud

Big Puffy Cloud

About a month ago, I was at Brett’s soccer game sitting with Maddy.  We both had seen this big puffy heart shaped cloud at the same time. Lucky for me I was able to get my phone out in time to take a pic, it was only seconds later, the cloud stretched out and apart. Cold day to be playing or watching a game – regardless, Brett’ team...

Solar-Flare

Solar-Flare

I was reading an article online about the Sun’s recent solar-flares and how they may effect us. When looking at this close-up photo of the sun, I noticed two hearts in the pic.  One is on the right side of the pic, it’s bright white and the other is smaller and within the darker mass. Beyond the hearts, I found this article quite interesting.  Even more so, we have cameras that can take close up photos of the sun like this. Life is...

Organic Mess

Organic Mess

Buckles and I were out for a walk when we came across another one of these organic filter tubes – to prevent water erosion on a construction site. It’s funny I took the pic of this perfect heart shaped hole in front of a few of the guys building the house.  The next day it was gone, I think they thought I was taking photos of the mess it was making to complain… Who’s complaining about this beautiful organic mess!? It’s...

Wood chunk

Wood chunk

They are building numerous new homes in our neighborhood. One of the houses they were putting up cedar siding and tossing out big pieces of this fantastic cedar wood.  Since I walk by this house everyday when out with Buckles, I asked if they would please put these larger pieces aside, so I could use it for firewood. I love the way the cedar boards smell when they’re burning. The next day when Buckles and I walked by, they not only had a...
