With Honors

May 2016 Savannah had attended Coe College, graduating with Cum Laude 3.7 and distinction for honors in Art History.  YAY!!!  Proud papa! Savannah chose to add some color and art to her graduation hat.  Of course, there is a heart – it was designed as a framed piece of art on display for all to see. Savannah is currently working on her Masters in Art History in California.  YAY!!! More of a proud papa! This graduation hat (along with all...

Another leaf

Another leaf

Spring 2016 We are certainly not short of any heart leaves or rocks in this world.  As I was taking the garbage out, I came across this heart shaped leaf on the driveway. I recall being torn to go back in the house to get my phone to take a pic.  I told myself if it blows away while I’m gone – fine, I can accept that. Obviously, the leaf was still on hand for its photo shoot – here it...

Mirrored

Mirrored

Spring 2016 Leo and I were at the dog park and came across this heart rock.  However, what I found so interesting was how the leaf next to it looks readying to pounce at any moment – love that it is currently mirroring the rock, at least by shape. Dirty love

Dirty love

Spring, 2016 Again, after the snow melted, out in the front yard, a new heart shaped patch of dirt was found in front of the 13ft heart light. Never can get enough of the dirty love!   Happy B-day to my brother Greg and my other brother, from another mother, Greg...

Can’t recall

Can’t recall

Spring, 2016 I’m sorry to have to say, I can not recall where this was taken.  Who those shoes belong too. At first, I thought it was in the warehouse and they were Ellie’s shoes – Rylee’s daughter.  However, I don’t believe this is that pic. Feel free to come forth – if U recognize the shoes or heart.  Obviously, I will update the post with any new...

Loving the bugs

Loving the bugs

Spring 2016 Leo and I were at the dog park with our buddies, Todd and Musti. If I only had a dollar for every perfect heart shaped hole found in a leaf. How do the bugs do it?  I’m sure they don’t realize they are making a heart – however, is it possible they prefer to eat in this pattern? I just paused and googled it – didn’t get anywhere close to the answer I was hoping for. I’m not a lover of bugs...
