Blown away

It was a very cold day – below zero and the wind blowing. I do recall noticing in the morning, the fire pit cover being covered in snow.
By mid afternoon, the wind created one heart, and looked as if another was to appear. However, when I looked later that night – there was no snow to be seen – the hearts had blown away.
