Back on the Throne
This is one of my favorite cards Savannah has made for me – for many personal reasons. This was my Father’s Day Card for 2012. The throne is one piece of wood and the heart underneath the throne is a reflection of the rings of the wood from the chair.
U can also notice there is a little heart peeking out behind the top middle of the chair.
It appears my hand was a little shaky when I took the photo – so, I do not think U can see all the little details in the drawing as U can if holding it. Besides the glare from the picture frame also takes way from the details.
She really did do a fantastic job on this card!
What she had written was so ideal to everything going on in our lives. It states, “Happy Father’s Day, Back on the throne, he sits, wiser than ever. The true Kings are the successful believers, which you have & will continue to prove to be forever. I’m a lucky princess. Savannah”
The importance in any artists career is not to only be able to articulate one self thru their visual medium it is a huge plus if they have the understanding and knowledge to communicate their thoughts into words.
Which is what I am trying to encourage all of U to do as well.
The only way to truly master any art is to begin – practice does make perfect!!
