Late Fall 2015,<\/p>\n
It had snowed again and by the time Leo and I went out for our walk, it already had started melting.<\/p>\n
At this point, Leo had experienced about 2 months of me stopping and taking pics of hearts.<\/p>\n
I know this seems strange to ask, is it possible that a dog\/puppy can recognize a shape they see over and over?<\/p>\n
The reason I’m asking is, for the first time all on his own, it appeared he noticed a heart.<\/p>\n
Leo was ahead of me by about 15 feet when he stopped and started barking like crazy – not in a protective tone, but more of a happy alert type tone – if that makes sense.<\/p>\n
When I caught up to him I noticed right away of the heart, and the way he looked at me I felt like he was saying “did I do good” – of course, I patted him on the head and said, good boy – that is a great heart!!<\/p>\n
He watched me take my phone out and take the pic, and then as I was putting my phone back in my pocket – he just continued forward on our walk.<\/p>\n
