Ants!!!
Sadie and I were going on a walk the other day, and I noticed this heart image; however it looked like it was moving. After getting a closer look I was surprised it was a colony of red ants. My first reaction was… “Gross!” Why is it a dog’s reaction to try to eat them? “Super Gross!”
For All U ant lovers, don’t worry no ants were harmed in taking this photo. I pulled back on the leash just in time.
After doing a little research online, I discovered quite often a colony of ants will gather like this while they clean house and/or move. I did not notice any of them carrying furniture, so I think they were simply doing some spring-cleaning themselves.
